The Kentucky school of Metaphysics offers an eight weekend course that qualifies the student for certification as a clinical hypnotherapist.The course is taught by Stanley Stratford, past president of Kentucky Association of Hypnotherapists and president of the Kentucky School of Metaphysics.A variety of teaching techniques such as lecture, discussion, demonstration and supervised practice are used. In addition, the School requires the student to perform 25 hypnosis sessions, on persons other than students and covering most of the topics of the course. These sessions are supervised and critiqued by Mr Stratford.

This is the complete NGH 100 Credit hour Certification course.  Though virtually all aspects of the art and science are taught, course emphasis is made for the medical and counseling fields.  The syllabus is individualized according to the interests of the individual class. The educational standards are monitored by Phyllis Breuer, MAT, M.Ed. - an education specialist and a hypnosis curriculum consultant. Students may elect to take this course under Dr. Breuer via Bellarmine University's CEU program when offered, or privately in an accelerated learning program. Privately it the same as previously taught to doctors, nurses, psychologists and other therapists but can be more individualized to the student and personal schedules.  Prospective students are invited to contact him and meet privately in the medical center in Louisville to view all materials.
